Yes. We deliberately chose 460nm blue instead of the 415nm common in premium masks because 415nm is harsher on melanin-rich skin and can occasionally cause temporary hyperpigmentation. Our 850nm near-infrared also penetrates deeper than the 660nm red used in many masks, which is friendly to darker skin where inflammation runs deeper.

No. The mask connects to a small handheld controller with four physical buttons (one per protocol phase). No app, no Bluetooth, no software updates, no account login. Plug in, press the button for your current cycle phase, sit for 10 minutes.

The protocol breaks your cycle into four phases of approximately seven days each. The controller has four preset modes, one for each phase.

Phase 1 (menstrual, days 1-7): Red plus near-infrared, gentle. Calming inflammation.

Phase 2 (follicular, days 8-14): Balanced red and blue. Renewal phase, skin most receptive.

Phase 3 (ovulation, days 15-21): Light blue plus red. Subtle flare control.

Phase 4 (luteal, days 22-28): Heavy blue plus near-infrared. Maximum prevention against the highest-risk window for hormonal breakouts.

Each session is 10 minutes. Use 4 to 6 days per week.

No. The protocol calls for 4 to 6 days per week. More than that does not produce better results, and giving your skin one or two rest days per week actually helps the cellular processes finish what the light started.

Accutane (isotretinoin): Do not use NOORA while on Accutane or for at least six months after stopping. Your skin is photosensitive during and after treatment.

Pregnancy: We do not recommend NOORA during pregnancy. Wait until after delivery.

Breastfeeding: Generally fine, but consult your OB-GYN if you have any photosensitivity concerns.

Other photosensitive medications: Tetracyclines, certain antibiotics, St. John's Wort, and some chemotherapy drugs increase light sensitivity. Talk to your doctor first.

Wavelengths. Most premium masks include red and one of two blue wavelengths. We added 850nm near-infrared because Korean dermatology has been working with it for two decades and it reaches the deeper layers where hormonal inflammation lives.

Coverage. Most masks stop at the upper cheek. We extended the LED array to cover chin and jawline because that is where hormonal breakouts cluster.

Protocol. Most masks give you one mode and tell you to use it daily. We built four modes that follow the cycle, with a 28-day protocol around them.
